Waffles with sausage and tomato salad
- 200 g flour
- ½ tablespoon yeast
- 5 stick of thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 2½ dl milk
- 2 fresh eggs
- 100g salchichon extra (Selection Espana Bell)
- 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g red and yellow cherries tomatoes
In a bowl, blend the flour, baking powder, leaves of stick of thyme, ½ teaspoon salt and pepper. Add the milk and beaten eggs.
Cut the Salchichon cut into squares and add them to the mixture.
Heat the waffle iron, butter slightly, pour a quarter of the dough. Bake the waffle 4 minutes, let it cool on a rack. Proceed the same way with the remaining dough.
Mix the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, ½ teaspoon salt and pepper.
Slice the cherry tomatoes into and thinly slice the remaining stick of thyme. Mix and serve with warm waffles.
